My path to chiropractic started on the sidelines, not in a classroom. I graduated summa cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College with a double major in Athletic Training and Health Fitness and a minor in Coaching. For six years I worked as an athletic trainer — three years on the field and three years in a clinical setting — and it was in the clinic where I saw firsthand the impact chiropractic care could have on athletes working to recover from injury.

That experience changed the direction of my career. I saw a gap in how the medical system cared for athletes, treating symptoms instead of getting to the root cause and helping people get back to doing what they love. So I enrolled at Northwestern Health Sciences University to pursue my Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating magna cum laude in November 2011.

I opened my own practice right out of school and have proudly served the Northwest suburbs since 2012. I truly love helping people do what they love pain free – whether it's a mom with daily headaches, a dad who can't play with his kids because of his bad back, or the athlete (or weekend warrior) who just wants to play pain-free. I also love getting out into the community to teach and share that same message, whether it's speaking at a local business, a gym, or a community event.

Outside of the office, I'm a husband and dad to two amazing kids, and we keep busy running a small homestead farm on our land. When we're not tending to the animals, you'll find us camping, hunting, fishing, or out on an extreme wilderness camping trip — we love being outdoors and pushing ourselves to try new things as a family.
