Dr. Rick Hyde DC
Dr. Rick Hyde graduated from Augustana College with a degree in Biology. He went on to National College of Chiropractic and received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. As a college athlete Dr. Hyde saw the life changing need of chiropractic care which led him to also become a certified chiropractic sports physician. Active release technique certification, myofascial release, and acupuncture certification round out Dr. Hyde’s credentials.
As a child Dr. Hyde suffered from chronic asthma, allergies, and headaches/migraines. While pursuing a pre-med degree at Augustana College, Dr. Hyde played three sports and sustained neck and back pain as well as chronic knee tendonitis. After multiple failed surgeries and lifelong medications he found the cure in what he has developed as the 7 essentials of health. Having worked with both families and elite athletes for more than 15 years, Dr. Hyde has helped many solve their failing health issues and achieve their maximum health potential.
The heartbeat of Dr. Hyde’s practice for over 15 years has been to lead people to fulfilled lives through the God given principles of health and wellness. Residing in the western suburbs of Chicago has afforded Dr. Hyde the opportunity to treat numerous elite athletes, coaches and trainers over the years who have claimed that his evaluations and treatment plans are second to none. Whole families ranging from infants to the aged are achieving greater quality of life as they learn that health follows an ‘Above-down-inside-out’ principle. Dr. Hyde also enjoys giving 10+ hours a month back to the community in a variety of venues believing that all people, young and old, deserve to know how to practice a life of health and wellness. Dr. Rick Hyde and his wife Beth are active in fitness, sports, church and the activities of their seven children. The Hydes live in Wheaton.
