I remember as a child standing in my chiropractor's office staring at a poster, which illustrated the spinal connection to every organ within the body. Listening to my doctor explain the principles of health through chiropractic terms not only sparked my interest, but quickly lit a fire in me that made me realize that one day I too wanted to become a chiropractor.
With goals of attending chiropractic college in mind, I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition and Chemistry from Canada's number one ranked university, St. Francis Xavier University. I then left my home in Canada for Southern California in 1999 to pursue my chiropractic degree. Upon graduating with honors, along with the President's Award for Outstanding Leadership, I began practicing my passion by opening my first chiropractic office in Newport Beach.
For the last nine years I have been working to change the lives of all those I have met and treated. With my other passion for public speaking, community education and outreach, I strive to educate as many people as possible on the benefits of a chiropractic lifestyle. In a constant effort to better myself, and better serve my patients, I continue to spend much of my time attending countless seminars obtaining numerous certifications in the fields of:
- Nutrition
- Golf Injuries and biomechanics
- Animal Chiropractic
- Pediatric Chiropractic (which I am currently in the process of finishing my year and a half program)
My ongoing devotion to help children, along with their mothers, from conception into adulthood has allowed me to develop the Wellness Center of my dreams.
In January of 2011, I joined my love of chiropractic care with that of my long time friend and associate Dr. Edward Reza and we opened our new state of the art facility, E.T. Chiropractic. Since then we have continued to spread our message throughout the Orange County community.
Outside of chiropractic care, I continue to enjoy my Canadian pastime of Hockey, as well as the enjoyment for downhill and water skiing, golfing, camping and traveling the world.
My mission in practice, and in life, is to touch and make a positive impact on as many lives as possible. I live by my saying, "The body can heal itself, sometimes it just needs a hand."
